Dear Ranger Leaders
Let me first say,” Happy New Year to all”.
May this new year begin
and end better than the last.
I pray that you and your family will grow
closer than ever because the family is under attack
like never before.
There is strength in numbers. We must remember that we are not
here
for ourselves, but for others. When our concern is for others, God will bless us.
2012 is the year of selflessness.
The time for us to step outside of ourselves
for the needs of others. We won’t talk
about resolutions because they are
only made to be broken. Let us instead become more committed to
what we say,
and what we do for the Kingdom of God. I will commit to being a better steward of
what God has trusted me with. I pray that you will do the same.
This also means relationships.
We have come a long way in this
ministry, and we must continue forward.
If we do not take a step forward, we will find ourselves
in the same spot in the
years to come. A strong tree is strong because it has learned to bend when
the wind
blows hard in order to survive. It will continue to do so and live until it dies.
We too must be like a strong tree planted by a river. It should matter
not how high
the water rises, or the wind blows; we will stand in 2012.
You and I are still here because God has not finished with us
yet.
That means we must ask Him what is it He is requiring of us,
then we wait for His answer.
I look forward to seeing a lot of you in this new year.
God
Bless and keep all of you.
